I am a Mum, partner, yogi, therapist, health trailblazer and trekker. I have recently been elevated to the privileged position as grandmother, what a joy 🌸💕🌸
Yoga has been a passion since 1987 and through the medium of teaching the pathway to health, healing and happiness.
When you begin to practice yoga, change happens. The simple act of quietly turning up and facing yourself, each day, week or whenever you do, creates change. Yoga enables harmony and balance to seep into your being and then spread out into everything that you do.
Classical yoga, slow flow linked with breath and restorative yoga are my go to modalities. Classes incorporate beginner level through to advanced practice and since 2017, I have been sharing teacher training.
My teachings include deep relaxation and meditation techniques that can be tailored to individual needs. I have a love and passion for music and singing and so in the tradition of Bhakti Yoga (Devotion), no class or retreat is complete without some chanting or kirtan.
Throughout my journey as a yoga teacher I have integrated prenatal yoga and have spent many hours with mumas and families through birth education and birth support as a doula. Prenatal yoga classes focus on the strength and innate ability each woman has to birth in the way that she would like, in the environment that she feels safest and with the people that she loves and that provide her with the best support. In my efforts to spread the benefits of Yoga, I try not to exclude anyone from the practice of yoga and feel that one of my life purpose’s is to bring yoga to as many people as I can, without prejudice. I have a genuine belief that health and healing result from the choices that you make with food and lifestyle everyday, hence this combination of skills are some of the draw cards to our Yoga and Whole Food Retreats. I have a complementary therapies practice, which includes Psych-K®️, aromatherapy, reiki and energy healing to assist your journey to recover, relax and find the peace you need. I offer online Psych-K®️ sessions and distance healing, if you would like a face to face session we can arrange via my booking page.
